Packaged Analytics

Business Analyzer is platform for Business Intelligence.  Standard cubes are provided for various Accounting and ERP systems for quick installation and startup.  However every organization sees their data differently and needs customizations to be an effective tool. Business Analyzer takes data from a source system (Accounting, ERP or Data Warehouse) and re-organizes it from OLTP (On Line Transaction Processing) formats to a relational view that is much more effective for reporting and analytics.  Through these views, Stored Procedures, or various types of scripts, data can be consolidated, merged and re-aligned to meet almost any type of reporting and analytic requirement. The key point is that you can start with pre-built analytics and then customize it to meet your needs! The following is a general representation of what the typical packaged analytics we provide for our customers. This is not a complete list but provides an overview of the most common building blocks for each Cube that can be analyzed with Business Analyzer.

End to End Integration

InfoPlanIT has developed a robust end to end integration module. This module is a platform for growth and expansion, not just an out of the box application. The integration module begins with significant functionality that provides the following:

Database Connectors
Connect to various source systems, extract and transform the data. While we have
several “stock” connectors developed, we can develop data base connectors for virtually
any database application.

Data Warehouse
The Data Warehouse application is a consolidation point for single or varied source
systems. In the Data Warehouse we also maintain various mappings that allow you to
further define hierarchical data points that do not exist in your source systems.

Automation
The Automation piece is a series of jobs and scripts that fully automate the refresh process
and produces the defined cubes and reports and publishes them for end user access.
