About InfoPlanIT

InfoPlanIT was established in 1998, at a time when Business Intelligence (BI) was viewed as a luxury and not a necessity; a big company’s tool reserved for the few. Setting out to change the status quo, we began by providing solutions locally in Chicago, Illinois and have grown to become a global Business Intelligence provider of on-site solutions across the United States, Europe and Asia.
.
Robert Andreini started the company with the goal of helping companies “remove the IT bottleneck.” He was determined to develop solutions that were both powerful and user-friendly, “self serve” Business Intelligence that was cost-effective and universal. This goal involved providing business professionals with automated information that was detailed and accurate on a day-to-day basis, yet easy to use. While the technology and processes used to provide these deliverables are ever changing, the primary objective remains constant: Give the business user the power of their information.
.
InfoPlanIT’s original BI solutions were developed in response to customer’s real world business problems. When we say “Real World Business Intelligence,” we stand behind 12 years of working to help companies consolidate their data and create meaningful tools that lead to better decision making, increased profits, decreased operating costs, collective knowledge, and more. InfoPlanIT has worked with small, mid-sized and large organizations serving both public and private sectors across industries that include: automotive, real estate, life sciences, financial, manufacturing, and warehouse and distribution. This last process alone provided the company with a savings of over 1 million dollars a year in lost billing and became the basis for a customer/product profitability executive information system (EIS). Another EIS system used data from the membership tracking system to allow executives to better understand trends in facility usage, membership patterns and marketing events effectiveness.
